5 Tips On How To Maximize Your Workout Time!

Hello! I would like to share a few tips on how you can maximize your workout. I understand that everyone doesn’t have the luxury to spend more than an hour in the gym on a daily basis due to life’s demands. I’m here to let you know, that’s OK! Below I will be sharing a couple of tips on how to complete a productive workout in a timely fashion.

  1. Arrive to your training facility already dressed in your active wear.
  2. Supplements that are taken before your workout may be taken before you actually get to the gym.
  3. Prepare your gym bag the night before with all workout essentials. This will reduce the chances of you leaving something behind.
  4. Have your workout already planned (if possible), this will allow for you to stay focus and reduce any wasted time.
  5. If your are focus on weight training, I would suggest taking a one minute rest in between sets. This will add a component of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) method to your workout. Thus, burning more calories.

I hope these tips are helpful for you. Now go have an AWESOME workout!

These products were purchased from AMAZON! Protein for HER and sweet sweat’s waist trimmer. Starting on January 28th I will implement these two products in my fitness regimen.

I am EXCITED to use these products. The protein will be used to help build lean muscle and to me my protein intake. The waist trimmer will be used for my mid section, I’m not much of a sweater so I confident that this waist trimmer will do the trick. We shall see.

I would like to know your thoughts on the two products mentioned above? Would you be open to use them? Why or why not?

When I was younger I spent much of my time racing. Racing siblings, neighbors, kids at my school and even strangers. I enjoyed the art of running so much that I finally asked my mom for permission to join my middle school Track and Field team. With her blessing and support, I went out for the track team. From middle school through college, I competed within Track and Field doing events from the 100 meter hurdles to the 800 meter run and dabbling in several field events (high jump, long jump, shot put and javelin throw). I had participated in the world of Track and Field for over 10 years before hanging up my spikes. This was difficult because I felt that I had not reached my full potential, a sad moment for me. The year of 2015 was the last time I competed in Track and Field, I never looked back, never tried after that year.

I know what you’re thinking, “ why is titled a place of peace?” It’s because after four years of not doing something that I once loved and lived for is no longer a part of my identity now. It is a part of who I USE to be. I’m at a place of peace now because I realized that I was blessed and fortunate enough to do something I loved that took me to so many different places. Track and Field shaped my mentality, it taught me that in life you will win and lose. However, there is ALWAYS a lesson to be learned in both celebrations and tribulations. I have found peace in knowing that what I have gained because of Track and Field can NEVER be taken away from me. I’m truly grateful to my higher power for showing me favor. I found peace within myself for what I have done and who I have become.
